Well, its been a long time. Over a year now since I’ve been outside with a kite in my hand.
Due to my medical condition and, “incarceration” in a rehab faclity, the passion to fly has been pent up in my very soul. So this week I went on a shopping trip with my fingertips and located a couple items to “play with” this summer.
I was scouting and scoping for a used quad-line kite, and found a smoking deal on a HQ SYMPHONY dual line ram-foil with wrist straps, added some 50ft tube tails, thinking a quick and easy plaything that could be shared.
Then a new old stock EXP Reflex by Revolution popped up and I pulled the trigger. Not having any practice I’m going to be a bit rusty. So the beginners level kite will suffice to get my “groove” back on. Then I’ll have a Rev-to-share in the future that will not be a pricey higher performance kite. I have noticed that most areas around here are not very large and the breezes are no where near as strong as the coastal winds I’ve come accustomed to. Consequently I’ve decided the fly lines for the EXP will be cut down to 2 sets; one 25ft. and one 40ft

Now, my pal says to watch the mailbox, I’m being gifted another Rev….the SuperSonic, which I’ve never flown or owned!!! I know that’s going to be a real thrill!!

So now its YIPPEE!! Let’s go to the kite field! Enough of this stay indoors CRAP!!
