Dano Wright began his interest in kites and sailing while living in the Windward Islands of the Carribean. Making kites and gliders of whatever materials could be scrounged up, bamboo, palms frond, tissue paper, sail cloth…..
While on a vacation to the Texas coast Dano discovered the world of sport kites, and upon relocating to the Coastal Bend he and his daughter opened a kite shop. They promoted the local kite club and kiting events throughout the area.
Dano began designing and creating “windfeather” banners for their shop, other kite flyers, area kite clubs, and local merchants. What began as a “hobby” soon became a business, filling a demand for high-quality products, constructed from durable materials and processes.
The product offerings have since expanded to include many promotional and marketing items designed specifically for each client.
