Creative Juices

This little chunk of material and those strips of colored bits are the beginnings of a “graphic” as I call them, to be part of a banner for a little cafe inside The Captain’s Quarters flea market in Aransas Pass.  We went there to help some pals and try to unload some items cluttering up the shop. Finding the coffee supply was a bit of a challenge, but a conversation was started when I was asked what I was selling. I had several feather banners on display, and explained that I custom design things that “flap in the breeze”. As the lady had no signage and complained that nobody knew they were open., I offered to help with that issue.   So after a bit of “thinking cap” time, the idea of a banner to hang out at the front of her patio dining area…..  In bright colors to match the “tropical” colors and with graphics to accent the message lettering.  I think we will have a very effective advert piece made.

Now doesn’t that speak to you?  Are ya hungry yet?

A cheeseburger fit the bill?  Will add the hot dog to complete the menu. .  Still in the process of sewing the elements together.

The finished product, complete with brass grommets in the corners and center so the banner can be “bungee corded” to the patio roof supports. If this doesn’t let folks know what’s going on inside then nothing short of flashing neon and loudspeakers will do the trick. Kim, we wish you much success and enjoy the increased traffic!!!
