Our coastal community was hit very hard by #HurricaineHarvey but we are Texans, resiliant, tough, headstrong and not to be “messed with” Just read the history of our republic, it’s struggles for freedom to self-govern and you will begin to understand.
This is the location of one of our clients and you can see some of the damages incurred. What we want to stress here today are the two flags on the roof. The US flag placed there post storm to represent the patriotism of our townspeople as we pick through the debris piles to attempt to piece our lives back together. All the “partisian nonsense” is cast aside and we plow forward, arm in arm, to make #Rockportstrong again.
The other flag, yellow and black, in baithouse fashion, is a “Harvey survivor”, like its owners and it”s creators, it is an example of “Texas tough”. This flag weathered the massive winds and yes, like most of us; is a bit tattered and frayed, but standing proud, unfailing to its mission in life. 
We are thankful for small blessings, and for divine protection of our respective businesses.
