So it is Fathers Day….my daughters (younger two) called and let me “talk” to the granddaughter whom I nickna!ed #5. However this year is a bit bittersweet as my son passed away a year ago. So I felt the need to stay occupied, wandered into the studio to tune in to some soul restorative jazz and just fool around. No production work, maybe fix some of my kites or finally frame that box kite I had sewn last summer….You know, recreational “work”.

I ended up finding a bit of old Sunbrella and remember seeing my pal carrying his new Rev EXP quad kite loose in his truck, so I decided to make him a carry bag.
These are quad line kites and have special linesets and handles which are not really cheap, so let’s put on some pockets to stash the accesories….

Ended up with a nice storage bag, a handle with spot to carry the “parking stake”, sealable flaps to keep everything nice neat and especially, CLEAN.

I think he will like this, I guess it will be a Fathers Day gift from me…or just a ” hey bud, saw you could use this”…..
All made from scraps and bits….and a dose of “keep busy” for a Dad who is coping with one of those things life deals us.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all you fellow Dad’s!!I
